Green Tea

Why green tea?

Green tea is known for its ability to increase overall energy and vitality. The antioxidants contained in green tea are responsible for this. It contains a large amount of health promoters called polyphenols. These antioxidants play an important role in the prevention of cancer. It is believed that they actually kill and stop the progression of cancer cells. Green tea also lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol and raises HDL (good) cholesterol.

Green tea acts as an antiviral agent and contains fluoride, a mineral that strengthens tooth enamel and prevents decay. Drinking green tea on a regular basis reduces the formation of plaque and bacteria in the mouth.

The antioxidant levels in green tea are extremely helpful in protecting the immune system. Catechins are the most effective antioxidants contained in green tea; they burn calories and lower LDL cholesterol.

Drink 2-4 cups of green tea each day for optimal health.
